This track has been 'completed' a few months after releasing Forceful Thunder and I haven't touched it since then. I focused on a few other songs in the meantime. In this one, I've experimented some vocal styles, different to the modern "black metal vocals" you usually hear. I've also added an instrumental "epic" intro.
The track is not fully completed, and this isn't the way I imagined myself publishing this track, however; I will explain why I am doing this so soon. Storm of Soul can be considered the continuation of Forceful Thunder. You can say these songs I'm releasing are about a 'journey' of one wandering into the "Forest". The story continues with this new track.
The song requires more work on the drums, a complete re-recording of the vocals and guitars, a bass guitar, more orchestral instruments and a proper mixing. I am publishing this song without all of these done because a while ago my laptop crashed with all of my programs and files, and I am left with pretty much nothing for now. Therefore my recording/mixing etc. will all have to pause until I am able to reclaim my loss. I don't want to seem ignorant or be 'forgotten' at this time so I'm keeping myself active and providing you guys with a little something by sharing this track, which is still of course acceptable to be shared in my point of view. If I wait to perfect this, it will take years to reach my satisfaction. I'm sure nobody would want to wait this amount of time, so I'd rather share what I have in hand rather than keeping you guys waiting. Hope to see you again with something new, COMPLETE, and better news. Until then, stay tuned!
